Responsibilities
- Design provider adapters, routing policies, retries, fallback behavior, and observability.
- Build production APIs that make model access predictable for developers.
- Partner with product on reliability, billing, and provider behavior.
What we look for
- Strong backend engineering experience.
- Production API, infrastructure, or distributed systems work.
- Clear written communication and ownership in ambiguous technical areas.
Own product surfaces for usage, keys, billing, account settings, and internal operating workflows.
Improve the developer journey through docs, examples, SDKs, and technical guidance.
Define product scope across provider access, routing behavior, pricing surfaces, and enterprise workflows.
Translate enterprise AI access needs into practical evaluation and implementation plans.
